Re: Saying "Illegal Alien" in the classroom may get you suspended

All undocumented people ARE illegal aliens, by definition. If you don't like the language, take that up with the federal government, not me. As an aside, the list of people you call names from cunts to pieces of garbage to pieces of shit is much, much longer than 1 person. What we are saying is tha...

Re: Saying "Illegal Alien" in the classroom may get you suspended

The federal system considered people 3/5ths of a person too. And by your standard since it isn’t in the code anymore that means it’s NOT OK. Actually, I was wrong. It is only the Library of Congress that has stopped using the term. Interesting nobody corrected me on that point. You, instead, ran wi...

Does anyone think it's ok to call a human being an illegal alien?
Yes. It was the language used in the federal code until quite recently.

A really big (as in tall and well built) older British guy.
He's British, eh?
I'm certainly no linguistics expert. Just sounded more Crocodile Dundee than Prince Charles to me.
He’s from London.

Rate, I can't disagree with you there. That one is a failure for 4.
The 11pm was just as bad calling it a trail of destruction while 7 called it storm damage. Their constant hype train on everything is not a bright spot even if they are number one.

Are the Biden’s still begging from Burisma? They called him “MBNA Joe” back in the 90s for doing the bidding of the big credit card companies, all incorporated in Delaware. Oh yeah, IIRC Hunter Biden got an executive type job at MBNA right out of school and flubbed that one. President Obama famous ...

Re: Weather reporting

Another dud weather report from channel 2, 4 7 and 62 to make it sound like it’s the apocalypse. Just a regular normal storm that dumped rain and has left in 30 mins. There is damage in quite a few towns with Ferndale and Washington both shown on all of the stations with roofing town off buildings....

there should never be ties, either add a 111th member, or have the Lt. Governor break ties like they can in the state senate. Therein lies the issue with this legal gerrymandering law. It focuses more on being fair to the political parties at the expense of actually representing the citizens in the...

The comparison? The top people at NBC hired someone. The top people at NPR, according to Uri anyways, don't hire a specific group of people (allegedly, Republicans) Employees at NBC publicly criticized the top people at NBC for hiring a certain person. An employee at NPR publicly criticized the top...
