Re: Buttigieg suspends campaign?

Confirmed by the AP. This really surprises me. I thought he would stay in the race until at least Super Tuesday. Let's see if he endorses Biden. He clearly doesn't want Sanders to be the nominee. I suspect that him dropping out now is strategic... most of his voters (a not insignificant 8-12% more ...

Re: Could We Have a Sane Discussion About Abortion?

It's not political, it's hate faith, and it's anti-woman. Did you know that abortions represent 8% of Planned Parenthood services? They are THE health care system for poor women, including birth control and prenatal care. These Kristians and their hater radio stations are actually attacking poor wo...

Re: Will history repeat itself? (Network switch)

I’ve always said that ABC wants to own a station in the Detroit market again. Anything is possible. That might be what you've "always said," but it's completely separated from reality. It has been decades since ABC has last purchased a TV station to make it O & O. Detroit is barely in the top 15 in...

Heard today that there is a possibility that Comcast will NOT renew their contract with the old fox regional sports channels. That won't sit well with the Detroit sports teams or Comiecast users.
They’d probably get together and start a new RSN...

Re: Biden wins South Carolina

Steyer is gone so whatever little support he had is gonna be reallocated... Buttigieg and Klobuchar should be gone after Super Tuesday... maybe Bloomberg gets the hint too?

A three way race between Warren, Sanders and Biden would give Biden the advantage.

Why criticize someone for delaying a college when you have a good job? Bill Gates comes to mind.

I had a really good job in high school, and the rest is history.
This is different than that... very different.

Re: YouTube TV dropping FSD

Another sign of how Sinclair screws up everything... YouTube TV says it’ll be dropping Fox Sports Detroit later today over f-up’d retrans negotiations. Sinclair decided to dramatically raise rates after taking over the regional sports nets. Now people are lashing out online about SBG’s greed. Haven...

Re: They're Coming Out of the Woodwork

I'm surprised to see Ash Wednesday receive so much pop culture attention this year. I always thought this was a Catholics only thing. Are other Christian denominations now doing this? Catholics and mainline Protestant denominations such as Lutherans and Presbyterians do it. Not sure if the anglican...

With today's technology it should be possible to mass produce halos. Someone ought to do it. There'd be a ready market for them among the Ash Wednesday crowd.

Re: They're Coming Out of the Woodwork

I wouldn't think so, but you might be right. I think Christmas and Easter would be most likely for the once in awhile folks but especially Christmas... Ash Wednesday takes a little extra commitment on a weekday evening and all... But when you go to church on Christmas or Easter, you don't get a bad...
