Re: Journalism Fraud

Master: It’s an unholy alliance of mega broadcasters. That’s why the Sinclair’s of the world need to be broken up. We need local ownership of TV stations to get back to true local journalism

Re: Journalism Fraud

Why isn’t Dave Bondy “keeping it real” about the shoddy “journalism” being produced by the Sinclair corporate Death Star??

Masters Level Math for 25-66’s In Over Her Head News Director:
Do your job or quit

Can’t believe morale is so bad on Pierson Road that some people actually wish for the “good ole Barrington Days”. It might not have been good TV, but at least they were honest.

Journalism Fraud

Journalists have one job: to report facts. That is unless you work for the Sinclair Death Star.. then you get to report rumor. In a Monday corporate must-run story, “reporter” Kristine Frazao alleged voter fraud in Minnesota based on undercover video shot and edited by conservative advocacy group Pr...

Re: Armstrong Shouldn’t Own TV Stations

Dudley: they don’t know who I am. It’s quite comical watching them try to figure out who’s posting then running into their office. They need proof to fire me and they don’t have it since I do everything off the clock and with non-station devices (sorry Marc and Chris...)

Re: Armstrong Shouldn’t Own TV Stations

And the station is being forced to run oppo-research in our newscasts. Armstrong paid for a poll, made us run it newscasts so it would be a “business expense” then handed the data over to Trump’s re-election campaign: https://nbc25news.com/news/local/mid-michigan-poll-opinions-on-trump-biden-whitmer...

Re: Armstrong Shouldn’t Own TV Stations

Also interesting editorial choice for 25-66’s In Over Her Head News Director to leave out the fact that WEYI owner Armstrong Williams is the business director for HUD Secretary Ben Carson. https://nbc25news.com/news/local/video-hud-secretary-ben-carson-visits-flint I know Nelly had at least one clas...

Re: Armstrong Shouldn’t Own TV Stations

EXCLUSIVE: Armstrong doesn’t want independent journalists to interview President Trump, but he has no problems tossing him softball questions and forcing his local stations to run this one-sided propaganda: https://nbc25news.com/news/nation-world/exclusive-president-trump-touts-new-economic-plan-aim...

Re: Armstrong Shouldn’t Own TV Stations

Audio: why should I quit? I do my job... and according to my supervisor, I do it well. Now, if they allowed us to do annual performance reviews, here’s what 25-66 station management would receive: New GM: Incomplete ASSistant GM/Promotions Director: F (I’d give a lower grade if one was available) In...

Armstrong Shouldn’t Own TV Stations

Yet another reason why Armstrong Williams/David Smith’s lapdog shouldn’t own TV stations. In an article on Patriot Post, he says: “Mr. President, why do you keep putting yourself in this predicament? Why do you continue to give reporters, who only seek to malign you, the time of day? It just doesn’t...

Re: Sinclair Doesn’t Care

Matt: no. Sinclair is making enough profit to actually pay its employees a decent wage. Executive chairman David Smith made $325-million last year. President & CEO Chris Ripley made $9.9-million. The company had revenues of $4.2-billion and profits of $2.2-billion last year. All this while raking up...

Re: Together With TV5 Promo

Epic fail... there’s not the current requirement if 15 mentions of “Coverage You Can Count On!”

And I didn’t see one photo of David Custer mugging for the camera.

Re: Sinclair Doesn’t Care

Force: do you disagree that the problems at 25-66 exist? If the low pay, low morale, bad management does exist as I have laid out, who’s responsibility is it to fix it? I believe the station management who has made these decisions is responsible for the decades of low ratings and even lower revenue....
