UAW doesn’t have much interest in broadcast unions... one of the reasons they dropped the WEYI bargaining unit about five years ago.

When Sinclair took over WEYI, the station’s photographers, Master Control operators. Newscast directors and others were represented by the UAW. The union went away after “right to work” laws passed.
