Izzo was suspended a game years ago for a violation. There are also plenty of issues with some of his players, which he keeps around.
Someone of Izzo’s power knew what was going on. I don’t think it’s over.

Re: Questionable music choices at 106.7 Fake Wheels
I just came back from a long cross country trip. You would be amazed how many great classic rock stations exist- almost all of them in smaller markets, and probably locally or regionally owned. Coming back to Detroit, it seems the station hasn’t changed much at all. I can’t wait to see the first rat...

Hopefully Dave Matthews Band never shows up on the station. Their music is a poor fit, besides the fact they are awful.
The other I agree should be in the playlist in some capacity.

WBCP Champaign-Urbana
I was driving through Champaign, and tuned in to WBCP 1580AM, for the simple fact it has the lowest daytime power of any licensed AM station at a whopping 135 watts. Signal itself seems to cover the immediate area, but the audio is so low I couldn’t hear it well. Even cranking up the volume didn’t h...

Still wondering how Izzo has a job. I still believe he was part of the cover up. He’s a dirty coach.

The MLB page hasn’t been updated in years, as their Toledo station no longer exists!
Wonder if any other company will try to get the rights.

At one time, the news was number one overall. Not sure about the rest of the channel or FOX network programming.

Re: FM Stations That Used To Be Listenable In SE MI, But Now Difficult Or Impossible
I’m not too far from the airport. I used to pick up WRVF, WKKO, and whatever 105.5 was called fairly well. Now, they are either gone or with WRVF, an unlistenable mix of mess.
WIOT and WGTE are still fairly decent.
I could even get a scratchy FM96 out of London on occasion. No more.

Re: 106.7 WLLZ: Detroit's Wheels (Classic Rock) is here
There’s a classic rock station in Albuquerque and another in rural Kansas somewhere west of Wichita that seems to have no problem playing deeper cuts, and slant more hard rock. Why not a market like Detroit? When will these conglomerates learn?

Re: Tiger's on Free TV OTA
For the last few years, the only Tigers game OTA has been Opening Day. Even the game of the weeks have been other teams- and many of those are now on the little viewed FS1.
Would be nice if they allowed a local broadcaster to buy a handful of games, like channel 20 did about a decade ago.

US Virgin Islands radio
I was on both St. Thomas and St. Croix recently. They have several commercial radio stations owned by companies, however I heard very few commercials, and on some stations, none. How in the world do these radio stations make money? They don’t have Cheap Channel or the cloud boys down there, either.

Mendoza was awful, so bad that I had to watch the games on mute and try to find the radio feed, which of course didn’t synch up.

Re: Most versatile radio pop/rock song
Billy Joel is another one who does not belong on a classic rock station, unless someone for some reason wanted to play something from his Attila days.
