Re: Gun rights rally, no violence

I need an explanation why so many of the folks who were passionate about gun rights showed up in "costume".
I'm not critiquing what they stand for.
But was the paratrooper, dressed to the hilt show really necessary?
Kind of takes the "take me seriously" off the table, if you ask me anyway.

Virginia Beach for sure; north Texas summers are brutally hot!
No doubt. My brother lives in Fort Worth.
He says it get hot enough that if you forget and touch something outside that's metal, you get burnt.
That's too toasty for me.

Re: Jason Carr - WDIV

Does anyone but myself think that Jason Carr is full of himself? Watch the news and Live in the D. He always brings up what he has or what he has done. Like home improvements or trips just to name a couple. I can’t watch Live in the D anymore. That sucks because Tati is cool. No matter what you mak...

Re: Debate MIA?

Interesting exchange. Seems like Tom Steyer is trying to separate the boxers after the bell for the round went off. But I'm not sure it was a deliberate snub by Warren. It seems more like she wanted to use her hands to make a point, instead of not wanting to shake his hand. I could be wrong. Watchin...

Re: Little investigating by on air investigative reporters

After reading a reply to a comment I made on another thread, I got to thinking about this thread, and investigative reporters. What if these reporters investigating the 696 Ooze would of went into the closest pub or lounge, bought a round for the house, and asked folks there what they knew about it....

Re: November 2019 TV News Ratings

No. Devin Scillian is one of the oldest anchors and he’s still number one. Oh wait—you’re referring to the women. Of course you are. Jerk. Can we agree the #1 goal of a local newscast is to get as many people as possible to watch? So, and I'm honestly going extreme here to make a point: Let's say o...

Re: November 2019 TV News Ratings

As others have noticed on here, I'm kind of a broken record saying that the younger and "easier on the eyes" the folks in front of the camera are, the more people are going to watch.
Now am I higher than the cost of living, thinking that this latest rating chart proves me right?

Re: Australia Is On Fire, All You Climate Change Deniers

I just don't understand why people feel they need to blame climate change on someone or some thing. I mean, it is what it is. That is the nature of things. Extreme weather conditions would still be happening whether or not we existed. The Earth has been through many different climates throughout ti...

Re: Outa Here

…. We've, over the years, learned that, with the travel budget, it's better to scrimp on the food, than on the room. So, when we're on the road, we eat a lot of fast food meals. For hotels, it's been our experience, the best deal in hotels is Hampton Inn … I'm along the same lines. Subway is the me...

Re: Sexiest Scene in Network TV History

I couldn't find a video clip of it.
The sexist TV scene I remember the most is an episode of Growing Pains. Joanna Kerns and Alan Thicke are rolling around in bed. She's in a plunging negligee, And honestly she was showing more than a little cleavage.
And all I could think was "This is Disney?".

Re: The Mentally ill-egitimate President

Most military combat veterans are men. You address their likes and dislikes throughout your commentary. Yet it will be women who decide Trump’s reelection. If Putin does not interfere again. Screen, you need to convince me how the women who voted for Trump in 2016 can be swayed into voting for whoe...

Re: The Mentally ill-egitimate President

Putin didnt interfere and alter the election the first time … This we are in agreement about. I have never been convinced that this actually happened. It's all, to me anyway, heresy, innuendoes, and opinion. A well used talking point for debates and political roundtables. But has anyone actually pr...

Re: The Mentally ill-egitimate President

Well, the Democrats need to quit using their heads for self proctology, and nominate someone that can beat him. They and the liberal medial want to keep cheerleading Biden or Warren or Bernie. I just don't see those three pulling it off. Trump can effectively paint Biden as a touchee-feelie pervert....

I've been using google chrome. I like it. But I just now switched over to firefox and no more pop ups. I use the original Google. Unlike Chrome, it can be set to automatically delete cookies, browsing history, any passwords, and many other things, every time I close the browser. I'm not saying it's...

Re: Eddie Murphy on "SNL"

The political writings and skits have been quite stale for some time. Can't they come up with something a little more new and original? Does politics have to be interjected into every aspect of our lives? Can't one watch such a program to escape reality for a little bit without adding politics to i...
