Re: New 105.3 Hot FM morning show announced

I woke up to Gravy & Rachael in the morning growing up and loved every minute... even before she came on board in 2012 (I always thought it was earlier - who was it before her?), they had a great library, and for someone who had young ears, was a nice alternative to WSNX. Unfortunately, they failed ...

Re: K'zoo / MKG / BC - Spring '19 Nielsens

Does anyone know how WQXC "Cool 101" tends to perform in the Kalamazoo market? I picked up the signal today from Ottawa County and was pleasantly surprised with their programming.

Re: Spring 2019 Nielsen Audio Quarterly Report (Updated: 07-23-19)

WCSG can’t be overlooked... they consistently put in by far the most effort into their radio station than anyone else and it shows. In the age of declining radio quality, WCSG has stayed the course and it seems to be paying off quite well.

Re: WODJ Jingle Package

One more note... I found the 96.1 WAKX "Young Country" jingle package from 1994 on that same page, entitled "Country Wildfire."

Re: Nielsen ratings are in for Winter (Grand Rapids, ages 12+)

While there aren't too many Christian CHR stations that openly report ratings, through the top 75 radio markets in the United States WCSG has the highest share of any Christian station... an incredibly impressive feat!

Re: WODJ Jingle Package

For what it's worth... it sounds like 107.3 WTNR has also added a "Thunder" jingle package. It doesn't seem to include a legal ID and I'm not sure how many different cuts there are. Still, it's cool to hear the Thunder jingle.

Re: WODJ Jingle Package

B93 jingle package from late 90's can be found about one-third of the way down on page 3! :hat http://masterofradio.com/jingles-page-3/ (Search for "Nobody Plays More Country.") I never remember hearing the weather sounder from the package on the air, but I could be mistaken about that. I have been...

WODJ Jingle Package

For those of you feeling nostalgic... I recently found the jingle package for WODJ-FM Grand Rapids, produced from ReelWorld in 1999. It's about halfway down the page here: http://masterofradio.com/jingles-page-2/

Re: WBBL gone

The idea of 105.3 Hot-FM switching to 94.5 is an interesting, yet very believable one. I'm surprised they haven't rebranded yet - their attempt at recovering from less than perfect ratings by firing Gravy did nothing to help them out. SNX has become the station of choice by far. It'll be interesting...
