Currently 7-7.
Maeda was a brilliant signing.
Might be time for some serious rationalizing, with the cost of Maeda's rotation spot being:

$14 million (salary of a DFA'd Maeda)
$729,200 (salary of recalled Matt Manning)
----------
$14,729,200

Detroit 11, Cleveland 7.

Tigers had 15 hits and only gave up three hits after Maeda left.
Vilade's two hits changed the score from 5-7 to 7-7, and from 8-7 to 9-7.

Meadows would probably have made outs in both at-bats.

The last show of the AA Revolving Door Show is scheduled for tomorrow: https://mibuzzboard.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=63266&start=150#p782599 Those guys performed a great service for the Ron Cameron community with their involvement in two tribute shows after Ron's death. All of us Cameronistas s...

Re: Ron Cameron

For $24.98 this could be property of Motor City Radio Flashbacks (or anyone else): https://www.ebay.com/itm/394849909730 I got curious about the "Mr. K's Loung" writing on the back. I googled "Mr. K's Lounge" and this came up. Looks like the kind of place where Ron would do a remote show. https://c...

Re: Detroit Tigers 2024

I'm starting to see a pattern.

The Tigers management doesn't see what any fan can see: the team needs to demote some hitters to Toledo and give some minor leaguers the chance to do better.

The Tigers PR staff doesn't see what any fan can see: the new Friday uniforms are terrible.

Re: Ron Cameron

Bobbert, thanks for the contact information regarding Motor City Radio Flashbacks. As I've mentioned earlier I have recorded much, if not most of the last few years of Ron's broadcasts. In spite of Mr. Cameron's insistence that his WDTK emanations were being saved as podcasts, I knew better and beg...

Re: Ron Cameron

I've been in contact with someone at the Motor City Radio Flashbacks website about posting more of Ron's old shows on that site (https://mcrfb.com/). I've given him links to content that I've posted here. He's interested in hearing from other people in this discussion thread about any shows they wo...

https://www.toledoblade.com/sports/tigers/2024/05/05/briggs-what-are-tigers-waiting-torkelson-belongs-toledo/stories/20240505145 Great article. I'd love to see the Tigers send Torkelson, Meadows, and Keith down to Toledo at the same time, so that none of them feels like a scapegoat for the poor tea...

Re: Detroit Tigers 2024

Our old friend Spencer Turnbull is 2-0 with a 1.67 ERA for the 23-11 Phillies. He definitely needed a change of scenery after all of his troubles with the Tigers last year.

Then there's the old joke...

Q: How do you pronounce the capitol of Kentucky? Louie-ville or Lewis-ville?
A: Frankfort

Re: Ron Cameron

I heard Mr. Positive yesterday evening on 97.1 at about 6:30. He thinks that Spencer Torkelson might need some psychiatric help.

When Mr. Positive said, "Let me ask you something, real quick," I had a "real quick" flashback to Ron's show.

Re: Detroit Tigers 2024

I wonder if it will take a bad weekend in New York to shake up the roster. The bullpen can't be expected to keep defending 1-0 leads. The Tigers next play in Cleveland, which isn't far from Columbus, where Toledo is playing this weekend. Glad that Valenti isn't on the air today. He would have been i...

Re: Me-TV Toons Classic Cartoon Channel Launching In July

This is great news for the people who don't have access to the MeTV or MeTV+ cartoon shows, which I access through Frndly TV. I just hope they don't dilute those existing shows with a lot of "modern" stuff.
