I actually miss being able to get TVO, on occasion I have found interesting programs on in the evening. I hope that once the repack is done in March I am able to get it back again.
Also agree it would be interesting to see see Canada embrace sub channels in the future.
Acceptable registrations in the queue through June 3 at 5:00p ET have now been activated. Enjoy! -M.W.

Re: And it approaches....
I saw the warning on CW 50 news ticker scrawl last night, and I thought glad I don't have cable. But this stuff happens outside of cable and locals. I lost El Rey from Sling due to dispute with Sling and Univision. Also we lost Decades when CBS up and decided to create StartTV, same thing with GetTV...

Re: Big changes in just released June ratings survey; WJR hits all-time record low
The only time I tune to AM is when I am driving around on the weekend and want to listen to a game I would rather be watching than have to be driving. I never even tune in to AM and scan around to see what is there. WLLZ has become just another preset on my radio, no better than 89X, WCSX, or WRIF. ...

Re: WMYD To Host Detroit’s First ATSC 3.0 Signal
Sorry you're right, my wording was bad. Won't be the same signal, but will still be board cast for at least 5 years. "ATSC 1.0 signals will still be subject to mandatory carriage rules for television providers during the five-year simulcasting mandate; the FCC stated that voluntary carriage of 3.0 s...

Re: WMYD To Host Detroit’s First ATSC 3.0 Signal
It will carry both 3.0 and 1.0, just like currently you get all the sub channels on the same signal. The older tuners will just not be able to process the 3.0 signal and ignore it. From more reading, the tuners will require new chipsets to work, so the chances of a software or firmware upgrade are v...

Re: WMYD To Host Detroit’s First ATSC 3.0 Signal
From what I have read, the 3.0 signal will be broadcast on the same frequency as the 1.0. The channels will be keeping the 1.0 signal with all the sub channels broadcasting for at least 5 years as 3.0 capable tuners are made available. So each channel will have the line up broadcasting in 3.0 and 1....

Re: WLPC Moved to 28
Not sure what happened, when they went to 28 I was in Chicago for work. When I got back I tried to scan 28 and I was receiving no signal, but when I checked 40, I could see the signal, but as usual it was very weak and hard to lock. Maybe they had issue with the new antenna and asked to be moved bac...

Re: OTA channels MIA
What part of the metro area are you in SixPlusOne? WJBK is always a strong signal for me in Shelby Twp about 15 miles away LOS from the tower. But it is a High-VHF signal and a lot of antenna don't do VHF very well.

Re: Why can't WHNE go to UHF 30?
There is more overlap in the western suburbs than I thought there would be. Does anyone on the Westside actually pick up WLAJ as a good signal?

Re: OTA channels MIA
You need to do a full rescan of your channels to pick up the ones that moved with the RePack. Don't know what kind of TV you have, but there should be a Menu item under Channels or Antenna that allows you to do a autoscan.

Re: Why can't WHNE go to UHF 30?
I didn't think WHNE signal would be strong enough to interfere with a station out of Lansing.
