Re: Eric Trump is a chip off the block
Interesting theory I had this morning. The question has now become why do we look at Donald Trump and say "I just can't quit you, baby?" Yes, there is quite a bit of pride involved, but I think it goes deeper. For many years, most of us got sick and tired of glad handing, promise making, "kiss the ...

Re: RIP Bill Walton
When I lived in Scottsdale my wife and I had season tickets for ASU basketball. Walton broadcast a lot of those games and I can say without a doubt the man was loved by everyone. Even with his mobility severely impaired, he'd lumber on the court and the room would just light up. He'd usually make hi...

Re: Economy Near the Cliff?
Pretty pathetic when your agency and 'brand' has fallen so much that you feel the need to take on a nom de plume to remain relevent.Your second paragraph gives away the game for anybody that didn’t believe already which retread you are.

Well unless you're a business. As I understand it, their cuts will be largely remain in place after the expiration of the personal income cuts.

Re: Your taxes will go up with Trump's plan
Well it was not for nothin' that the cuts were set to expire in 2025. Trump figured he would win back-to-back terms and would be long gone by the time the cuts disappeared. That there might by a Democrat sitting in office at the time to take the heat on a tax bump would just be a lucky cherry on the...

Re: 2024 is going to be a clusterf*&k
Go after the PAC's that are deliberately creating misinformation for the less bright who have access to the Internet. Fortunately, most states have filed felony charges against these criminals. Between that and the insurrectionists already in prison, only the very stupid will try to protest legitim...

Re: RIP David Sanborn
I always wondered who played this kick ass sax in this little nugget of music legendary theme composer Edd Kalhoff wrote for CBS. I hate to admit the geekiness of it but I'd put this right up there with Phil Woods one-take solo in Steely Dan's "Doctor Wu" in terms of leaving an indelible mark on a r...

Re: Netanyahu jeopardizes US relationship
No need to apologize. It is a war and horrific things happen to innocent people during war. I hate that aspect of any conflict but unless the world comes up with a different way to fight wars it will continue to happen. Our leaders killed how many innocent people during the wars we fought? How do y...

Re: Netanyahu jeopardizes US relationship
I am a Jaw that stands with Israel. Gentiles may not understand why some if not most do but there it is and I am not ashamed of my stance at all. Hamas shoulders the responsibility for what happens to those under its leadership. They want to wipe Israel and its people from the face of the planet so...

Re: Let's talk about the merits of the NY case against Trump
The Trump team made a very smart move, resting without putting Trump on the stand although it would have been high comedy. So smart that they put that Costello fellow on the stand. Yeah, we missed the main event of Trump tanking himself but witnessing Robert Costello perform harakiri made for a nic...

Re: Rudy...Rudy...Rudy...
There's certainly a resemblance. Only two ways to be sure. One, is Rudy's dog house empty? or two, is the goat Rudy fucks still alive?
(Oh I guess that would be something of a fabrication. Rudy only fucks his cousins and such)

Re: RIP David Sanborn
If you happened to tune into CBS's broadcast of Billy Joel's concert in New York a few weeks ago, that was Sanborn on Sax.
Within the first bars of Letterman's opening music I could tell if Sanborn was sitting in with the band that night. Such a distinctive sound and groove. We lost a good one.
