As WPON website's schedule is terribly out of date, what is the current schedule for the AA and Revolving Door Show?

I wonder if Joe LaPointe will write a eulogy for Ron in his Metro Times column?

I recall that after LaPointe's 1979 column was printed, Ron came into the store (Kent Drugs) and was not happy. Mr. Cameron intimated that he and Mr. LaPointe were "through." Evidently they reconciled.

If we can find a place with a CD player, I can make CD's of past shows and we can hear them.

FYI: I was able to record the show with a 60 second break to start the AA and Revolving Door Show which continued the tribute.

Interesting that we heard stories of the Detroit Red Wings players twice(!) paying Ron's "tuition" for umpire school. Regarding Ron and the Specs Howard School of Broadcasting, from Joe LaPointe's May 7, 1979 column in the Detroit Free Press: "Although he spent two weeks in a broadcast school, Ron's only brush with higher education was a Florida umpires' school 10 years ago."

My accountant reference was a "tip of the hat" to the Buzzboard members.

Your show will be the de facto source for posthumous Ron Cameron information.

The AA and Revolving Door Show ended today's broadcast by mentioning the Ron Cameron tribute show scheduled for March 1st.

Unfortunately WPON's stream for Ron's last show on February 16, 2024 wasn't working and I wound up recording nothing.

I too felt that at times Ron was laughing a little too hard.
