Re: Worst Colleges For Free Speech

So what you're implying a conservative person can not be educated and have different viewpoint than you? I'm implying that I see a strong correlation between those most vocal about control of speech & "indoctrination" at colleges & those that have never set foot on a campus, let alone as a student ...

Re: Worst Colleges For Free Speech

I'm willing to bet you've never been a student at any of the colleges you claim are "worst" for free speech. Probably never set foot in one of their classrooms or spent any appreciable time on their campuses. Those that have never actually been to college seem to be the most vocal about such things....

Re: Another Outrageous Lie From Donald Trump

His supporters are more interested in him "bucking the system" and being the voice of their xenophobic, hate-filled, racist, anti-Muslim views than they are about him being electable. They're so giddy about having someone out there supporting all their bullshit & saying all the things them & their b...

Re: Christian Groups Urge acceptance of Refugees

this christian youtuber made an emphasis on how the US Should only allow christian refugees IF possible but definitely not muslim similar to what mike huckabee said recently regarding this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RxYutozlw7M Makes sense to me. Find me one member of ISIS that is Christian. F...

Re: Gun Control In France

They shouldn't be afraid to go in, otherwise sign up for a desk job. 2 hrs is crazy. It was not fear, it was planning. There were hostages. The theater was dark & closed off, so it took a long time to gain a vantage point on what was happening inside. When 3 terrorists enter a theater, mow a bunch ...

Re: Gun Control In France

Very amusing. I never made any stipulations of the sort. I was simply pointing out, with some glaring examples, that if you're waiting for the police, you could be waiting a long time. "One Bleeding to Death" all the while, the cops are afraid to go in, for fear they'll be outgunned by a couple of ...

Re: Gun Control In France

Oh jesus, another armchair tough guy with a weeping erection that wants to explain how he would have handled these terrorists...... In order to honestly represent reality, every scenario Colonel Rambo concocts must start with him filling his pants entirely full of soft-serve shit. Because that's wha...

Re: Good column from Nolan Finley re: road funding

Our roads in Northern Michigan are in great shape compared to the Detroit area (and inner city Grand Rapids). We have no heavy industry, but we have temperature related heaving. It seems the quantity of heavy trucks in SE Michigan is a greater impact, but have you seen a 13 axle truck take a corner...

Re: Good column from Nolan Finley re: road funding

I believe that in addition to resolving funding on a recurring basis, a big one time slug of cash needs to be spent on the front end to make up for the many years' worth of maintenance deferrals on our roads. I believe a portion of the ridiculous amount of liquidity sitting in the catastrophic insu...

Re: Gun Control In France

This whole discussion is a disgusting diversionary tactic, completely irrelevant to anything happening in France right now. Shut up with this whole bullshit about "if the French had guns, this wouldn't have happened" crap. It's nonsense and does no good for anybody. No! The original point of this p...

Re: Good column from Nolan Finley re: road funding

Then what causes us to have worse roads if this is supposedly better? The states with the supposedly more abusive 80,000 pound limit have way better roads... Ohio, Indiana, Illinois etc... Road maintenance, to put it simply. It's a time-sensitive game, where the slope of the decay plot can be impac...

Re: Good column from Nolan Finley re: road funding

I don't think science is on your side on this one with respect to road surface damage (IE potholes). Besides it would take twice as much fuel, what a waste of resources. Why would moving twice the weight at once ever be a positive? More load per truck = more commerce per load More axles per truck =...
