Maybe it's just me, but it seems like Jack is making a bit of a comeback.
Boise gets Jack FM
Re: Boise gets Jack FM
We need Jack in Detroit. WDRQ should become Jack 93.1, that would be cool.

I'd like to see Toledo Ohio get one! I mean come on already! lol. The D does need one for sure.

We need Jack FM in both Toledo and Detroit. I agree. At least Doug FM had a great run. IHeart should have given variety hits a better shot on 106.7 back in 2017.Heathcliff wrote: ↑Sat Mar 13, 2021 8:45 amI'd like to see Toledo Ohio get one! I mean come on already! lol. The D does need one for sure.

Honestly, I’d love to see a Jack-branded format in Detroit. Doug was decent, but never had any real effort put into it. The most successful Jacks, especially KCBS-FM in LA, have a H*** staff, and plenty of effort put into every single aspect of the programming; they treat the Jack brand as a living, breathing personality, and it shows.
I could see a Jack popping up in Detroit or Toledo in the next year, but will there be actual work out into it, or will it be nothing more than a glorified Spotify playlist? I think we all know the answer here...
