Happy New Year!
What’s likely to happen in 2024?
WNEM will continue to reign as the Flint-Saginaw TV market leader… even as more people move away from over the air/cable/satellite toward streaming.
Byron Allen will buy more TV stations and expand his bad syndicated programming like Funny You Should Ask and Comics Unleashed.
Sinclair continues its downward spiral and puts a final nail in the coffin for the few remaining News employees at WEYI & WSMH… opting to instead run The National Desk over local news… leaving only WNEM and WJRT in the News game.
Acceptable registrations in the queue through May 12 at 7:00p ET have now been activated. Enjoy! -M.W.

New Year Predictions
Re: New Year Predictions
I hope Byron Allen doesn't buy any TV stations in West Michigan as he wants TEGNA or Scripps atleast some of the midsize markets from Scripps, as I read a few months ago.
Go Pistons, Let's Go Redwings.

Re: New Year Predictions
Townsquare will lay off more staffers leaving Cars108 with just local voices. JR Kirtek will retire before the end of the year. David Custer will take an open position in Atlanta. Dave Bondy will take a job at Delta Tire or Slo Bones after social media backlash from his followers. Sinclair will drop all local newscasts on NBC25 and FOX66.
turn up the radio! mighty in might!
