Or innocent guy as the case may be...
The Washington Post is the latest news organization to settle a defamation lawsuit launched by Covington Catholic High School student Nicholas Sandmann.
From Twitter:
"On 2/19/19, I filed $250M defamation lawsuit against Washington Post. Today, I turned 18 & WaPo settled my lawsuit. Thanks to @ToddMcMurtry & @LLinWood for their advocacy. Thanks to my family & millions of you who have stood your ground by supporting me. I still have more to do," Sandmann wrote on Friday.
And then later tweeted:
"We have settled with WAPO and CNN. The fight isn’t over. 2 down. 6 to go. Don’t hold your breath @jack,"
Some of you on this board should send him a few bucks too. The way you vilified and assumed him to be guilty of being the aggressor just because he was wearing a MAGA hat.
New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

I’ll send that guy money when you send each liberal some for bashing us all the time and labeling us “The Left” derogatorily... he can win one against CNN or the Post... but not against any of us.
Donald Trump… In your guts you know he’s nuts.

I still don’t think we can be sued for defamation based on our comments here giving an opinion about his guilt or innocence...

No, I'm sure that you're right. I think the statement was more tongue in cheek?
At least, that's how I took it.

Living in the general area the young man is from our media covered this a lot more than national media did and actually uncovered what really happened first. It was amazing to watch the National guys jump on it once local media opened it up. I am not surprised that settlements are happening. The big boys don't need the black eye trials would cause.

They all got caught up in this because of the "copy-n-paste media".
Ask not what your country can do FOR you; ask what they are about to do TO YOU!!

I think a bigger factor was the MAGA hat!

My only question is can WAPO, NBC and CNN claw back their settlements? Truth be told they do kind of deserve getting burned on the deal since they rolled over to the aforementioned smug little prick early and quicky.
