That doesn't mean anything, stations can have crappy ratings forever but never get changed. I guess I was thinking more about if most of the listeners have migrated over the FM and if the ad $$ are there for 2 signals.

I'm sure there's enough ad dollars for two signals, especially as long as the FM signal isn't very good to the east, the AM is crap at night to the south and west, and the Tigers can't be aired on FM.

Or do one of you think that REAL!!!!11 oldies or "beautiful music" would bring in more on either one? :roll:

I never suggested that. If anything I'd like to see the zone back on a stronger signal. I was just wondering how they stack revenue wise.

Dablow, you've yet to contribute anything useful to this board other than insults.

People are entitled to their opinion, but it's sad you went thru the trouble to get a new board name just to log in and rip on Gordon. I don't always agree with him, but I don't visit the board just to rip on him like some 14 year old. He does have some good ideas, and presents them for our discussion.

We're all entitled to our opinions, suggestions, and info from our (former) employers, or soon to be former employers when they find out we've been chatting here about them.

Noticed WSPD is now ID'ing WRVF-HD2 with the legal ID at the top of the hour or I've just noticed it. How many people in Toledo honestly own an HD radio?

They've done that the last couple of months. Notice how quickly and softly it is said, because only about 12 people own an HD radio.

I listen to WCWA's Saturday morning music shows on WIOT-HD2, better quality, but not stereo yet.
I don't know why WSPD's ID tries to hide its HD broadcast on the River - it probably gives them better range at night on the nulls for me and the other 14 people listening.
