Geez,
Just heard Mitch do an ad for the Southeast Michigan Lincoln Dealers.
Holy cow, could a spot have less feeling or be more unconvincing?
I was waiting for him to yawn.
If i were the agency that makes those buys, i'd be playing Franks endorsement ad on Mitchs show.
Mitch must be a foreign car guy. He does a much better job for Toyota.

this is odd; with all the time mitch spends getting chaffeured around in the back of a Town Car, you'd think he'd have ample familiarity with the product!

Depends on what you consider an "import."

The Lincoln MKZ/Zephyr is made in Mexico. The MKX and MKT and made in Canada. All "domestic" cars use imported parts and components. The automakers, including the so-called Big Three, consider themselves international, rather than American.

FredLeonard, great point. the main thing i care about is where the employees who made the car live. and, to a lesser degree, whether they're unionized.
now that can mean a lot of things, because there are tons of people who live in our area who work at corporate HQ, but the idea is it's important to buy things that support your neighbors.

Buying American should work both ways in a moniker and who is employed
