Agreed, but for every Hanlon, there are many, many others who are mid level henchmen who are not as viciouos and self-serving as this wan reportedly was.
And it seems to me that Citadel wanted this type of manager. Chances are likely there was a Hanlon in most of their market areas.

One by one corperate radio is self destructing. I have watched it for a long time and the people they put in power had no business being there. From managers, sales managers and people on the air. Absolutely fucking amazing. Its like they TRULY don't have a damn brain in their head. Never listen to it much. Its ipods, cd's and even tapes.

Such a crazy mess after Larry Wilson sold out. I worked first under Larry, later during the Farid fiasco, and there really was no comnparison. Larry provided such great programming tools to us that all went away under Farid. He understood that a great product will always make a sales staff's job easier. I don't believe for a second Larry would've tolerated how someone like Hanlon operated.

Actually, I never met the guy. Heard entertaining stories, though, which told me maybe delivering papers at 3am wasn't a bad career move after all. No more delivery (boo), so I'm back to finding broken computers and radio stations to fix...basically the same skill set these days. Wanna wipe out an airstaff? Hit CNTL+ALT+DELETE.

Wilson's current endeavor:

(Small editorial: KINK is better under Alpha than it was under Infinity, but never as good as when King Broadcasting owned it)

Well, this is intriguing. As a long-time Jethro Tull fan (probably less so in its latter day incarnations), I'd be interested in what RadioOutkast believes this "says", seeing that it supposedly "says it all". Anyone else can chime in. I'm familiar with Anderson's reputation as a control freak, but the pic looks like nothing more than a cursory photo op.

FWIW, I know nothing of Hanlon except what's been offered on this forum.

#8....MPS in the AM (I'm sure Hanlon kept this guy on the ropes by promising that he would replace Paul W someday).

This is a kick in the head to the Constitutional Law Center or Attorney Gerald R. Stahl, who has practiced in West Michigan Courts for the past...

Mr. Emrich is with Secrest Wardle, whom I don't recall advertising on BBL, LAV or the like.

Not possible. He no longer works for a company that he can trade or barter with.
