Yep, I am betting local tv will be hyping up the tax deadline by going to local post offices and interviewing taxpayers/preparers. Is this really news?

The fact that the deadline falls on Tuesday the 17th is. But, "the busiest shopping day of the year, cyber monday, 1st day of firearm deer season, the cost of the 12 days of christmas, hallween safety tips", etc seem to be evergreens.

Yeah, maybe going way out on a limb and pre-complaining about a upcoming current event not being news will prevent it from showing up as a subject on "Hard News ONLY - TV15" this year.

Shame... we missed the op to bitch about Good Friday and Easter, I bet...

I just find it humorous that regular yearly events such at the tax deadline and holidays are hyped up to be big news. Why is it news when it's gonna happen on a regular basis anyways? Anybody with half a mind knows this.

Mix967.ca's daily poll on wednesday was on the tax deadline, i think the choices were taxes were done way before wednesday, and the other one was havent done them yet.
