Same with Kalamazoo. No city jail. That was shut down several years ago. Arrests are booked at the Crosstown complex and transported to Lamont Street (county lock-up). Thankfully it looks like the jail expansion is progressing nicely... having KDPS shut down the city jail has put some of a load on county, especially with intake, etc...

Then we are back to the reality that this is still being considered as a civil matter yet we have an arrest photo.

i remember kent co jail, i went when i got arrested for trespassing back in 2009.

Learn from mistakes? Really? Personal ones? Broadcasting ones?

It doesn' matter if you worked for him or not. If you are in this business and love this business everyone has a dog fight here because this man was allowed to make very very important decisions that affects many lives including people who had kids just like him.

How was one man allowed to screw up so many stations and careers? How?

He projected this family image in and outside of work and it was for all intent purposes a facade.

He made decisions in this city that affect people yet never were held accountable.

He had a moral code that even he couldn't subscribe to.

If you listed everything he did in the years he was here you will see one mistake after the other.

Furthermore WHY was he allowed to make SO many programmind decisions? WHY didn' the PD's say to him "get the f out of my studio"

What GM wants to hear his name over and over on the air? Who?
HIs irratic behaviour wasn't innovative..it was irratic.

Side deals he had...corporate deals he made on the side.....all the boards he sat on. Why?

Of course one feels bad for his kids. They have no say in this but they have benefitted from his income while many other kids still have unemployed Father's due to his poor decisons.

He isn't going to make amends to everyone he has harmed. The list is long. He's a narcissist. Getting sober or whatever isn't enough.
Heard his buddy is walking around with his tail between his legs because he knows he doesn't deserve the adulation Matt gave him not the salary.

This is about radio. One man destroyed alot. Every0ne could learn a lesson here.

There is no such thing as an arrest photo from the Kent County Jail for a civil matter. You don't get pictures taken for traffic tickets. He was arrested. Several other sites have the information.

He's been charged for something or some things but has not been arraigned yet.

Some of you need to retake civics class.

I wonder if Mark Thomas who Hanlon fired in Townsquare GR is pissed? Nothing like getting canned by a drunk drug addict then him showing up in a mug shot a month later.....

That would suck.

Heard (not verified) that a few in the sales dept. left or were fired when Hanlon was named sales VP.

Arrested then not charged. Still begs the question why his mug shot is available...

Was surfing facebook and a certain radio personality was spreading gossip as usual to one of his superiors
"So, what I hear is that a certain someone joined a Townsquare Conference call last Friday obviously drunk. There were complaints, and the CEO called our certain someone. That someone told the CEO what he thought of him, and was fired on the spot. Still drinking, he wrecked his car on Saturday and was popped for DUI......"

I'm not saying this did not happen, but according to what has been posted here via various websites, he was arrested and booked on April 6. That would be a Friday. Not Saturday.
