It appears now that they want to keep Stan thru the May ratings period on air from 5:30-6pm daily, but will deny him his full retirement by one day short of June 1st? Anyone confirm/concur?

He's like a local fixture around here, big reason I've always prefered 13 to channel 11. I wish him well.

Recorded the 5:30 news on 5/31, and Stan was NOT there for his final regularly scheduled weathercast, so looks like I missed out.

Oh that's sad. I don't suppose there's any way we could at least contact him with our thanks at this point, but I'd like to know (also have one less reason to watch WTVG perhaps if I have to go there).
