1) No advertisers - the clue here is the endless bumper music during the Jim Rome Show.
2) No commercials - bumper music - then when a show does come back live they over ride it with a station ID.
3) Missed an entire segment from the show today because someone was asleep at the switch.

If I were a business looking to advertise on radio - this would not be the station I choose. This place is a joke.

I don't think they actually have people at the switch ever since they let Doug Fisher go.

Yup, WTRX is run totally off the boxen. And since no one there listens, no one cares whether it's screwed up until... umm... yeah. You gotta remember who owns it.

Oh, that's wonderful quality and pride in serving the community, I tell ya... Tighter stations have literally been run out of basements and garages.

Dang it... there's plenty of other stations too that would sound better if they did this regularly!

<cough>WWCK AM & FM<cough>

Perhaps someone shouted "AHHH SHADDDAAAP" at their radio, and it listened! :D

That is just a poorly programmed automation system. If its done right, you don't need anyone at the switch.
Nothing more or less.

Poorly programmed sure. But there's no real replacement for a good tight board op. :8)

Once minimum wage got up over five dollars, an expensive automation system didn't look too expensive anymore.
