What differences do you think it would make, if any, if Mark Torregrossa went to five? Do you think he could fill Darrin's shoes? He probably could not fill Darren's suit.

Why would Torregrossa want to leave? He's on air for 1 hour each night and has built up quite the impressive weather garden at the studio. They seem to let him do what he wants.

Weather garden? I don't think he's doing that any more. I haven't seen one of those segments this year. Hopefully he's preparing to sit behind a desk as Darrin Bradley's replacement.

How about having Arthur Mometer be his replacement. He seems to be a frequent contributor to this board.

I'm starting to wonder if Torregrossa would be the best choice for TV5. 5 already has a lot of viewers, what would Mark add to it? Maybe the four people who watch NBC25. Those who watch 5 already watch 5 despite who is on the air there. Why spend extra money when no additional viewers would come?

Just have Lauren do what she is doing and Katherine do the mornings. Use Eric for week-ends, and if need be hire a part-time person as a fill in. I think things are fine the way they are. Save on the budget.

My theory, 5 is waiting for Torregrossa's contract to run out. Then again, I don't think 5 would have much to gain, if anything. Can't see anyone else being offered the position.
