on DTV OTA channel 13-2. WZZM is promoting the replay of their 5a-7a Morning News from 7 to 9 on that "Weather Channel" as of next Monday.

A response to WWMT's re-airing of hour 2 of their show at 7a on the CW7? An effort to compete with WXMI's live and local program from 7a-9a? A way to make more money, or justify somebody's job?

If it upgrades Dave Kaechle's sportcoat array, I'm for it.

Also perhaps a lame attempt to fulfill the broken promise to the FCC that stations would fill the digital sub-channels with "local programming".

Everyone tries to duplicate Kelly and Company from back in the day here in Detroit. I just believe live and local Morning TV is past due.

I'm all for it, provided that it's not one of those "pay to play" programs that are out there (such as "Daytime" on WFLA in Tampa Bay).

i promise you....dave is continually out shopping at goodwill's to find a new sport coat once in a while
