We are actually in the process of getting a time slot change on friday, from what it looks like, it'll be from 1-3
This Friday? If so what a Friday for you to be on following the return of the Ron Cameron show!

A "Northern Soul" show sounds (no pun intended) wonderful. I hope you play music that actually was popular in Great Britain at places like the Wigan Casino, Blackpool Mecca, the Golden Torch and the Twisted Wheel. Examples such as "If This Is Love (I'd Rather Be Lonely)" by the Precisions, "Seven Days Too Long" by Chuck Wood and "I'm On My Way" by Dean Parrish. (Wikipedia will explain a lot.)

Finally heard the show today. Love the Buzzboard shootouts!

Like the different segments, hopefully you find a mix that sticks

Next Friday is Ron Cameron's 79th birthday (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ron_Camer ... rtscaster)).

You guys should do something special for him. Maybe some birthday cupcakes, to remind him of the many times he talked about the UM football team's "cupcake" schedule in 2023.

Or maybe your parents have a newish Yellow Pages they’re not using.

The Yellow Pages would truly be a gift "that keeps on giving."

This Friday may be the first time a live, local show followed Ron on his birthday since his tenure at WXYZ-AM. (Cameron historians feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.)

In the mid-80's Dino Valle followed Ron in the afternoon on WCAR. Ron was on at 4 p.m., and Dino (with his dramatic operatic introduction) was on at 5 p.m.

Thanks for the information regarding Dino Valle. For anyone curious about Mr. Valle: https://prabook.com/web/dino.valle/182136

Dino Valle apparently still has the potential claim of being the last live, local show to follow a live Ron Cameron broadcast on Ron's birthday.
