He is a mediocre broadcaster. I've heard a few snippets of his weekend countdown show. It is lousy.

Mark Dickey - It is small-minded to not notice differences between people or to pretend they do not exist. Men have deeper voices than women, they cross their legs differently, and dress in a different manner. Gays seem to copy that behavior.

It is small-minded to assume all gays are high-voiced and feminine, because in reality, most gay men are just like you and me. Many like sports, enjoy drinking beer, and just happen to like men instead of women. I would bet that you've met a number of gay men without even knowing it, if only because they do not fulfill your stereotype.

At any rate, we're getting off topic here. MW's spot on, the show is mediocre at best. Also, I think it would be a better fit on a station that targets females 12-24, like WKQI... seems out of place on WDVD. Regardless, it sucks to see another talented (not to mention live/local) jock like Scott out of work.

I know a few radio personalities who happen to be gay and you would never know it unless they told you. One even works at a country station.

Perez Hilton? Forgot all about him. That name seems to have fallen 70% off the radar. Its been over a year since I've signed online and seen that name even once in any form. I didn't realize he was still doing anything.Not that I care. Enough with celebrity gossip. One reason for the sorry state this country is in is our preoccupation with celebrty gossip instead of more important stuff. I'd like to see how those guys do with hard, serious news stories.

FAN - I know that's right. I think it is amazing that those among us who will be quick to tell everyone else how to think to try to shame others into thinking a certain way and accuse others of persecuting people are the ones who are truly persecuting others. People think different than you, deal with it!
