Despite having a high recent rating in numeris, Q 107 in Calgary will no longer be Classic Rock as of January 9th. Their cume wasn't the highest compared to some of the other radio stations, which can be a major problem along with limited Ad revenue. Rogers owns CJAY 92 and Jack 96.9 which is Adult Hits, so I would have to say they ended beating Corus with those two stations. Rawlco also owns another Adult Hits station in that City. In addition to all that XL 103.1 is Classic Hits.
I predict either A.C. or Hot A.C. will be what's next on 107.3 FM. (Fresh Radio?)

Re: 107.3 CFGQ-FM Calgary
Does Calgary have an All Bagpipes station?
I don't mean to brag, but I just put a puzzle together in 1 day and the box said 2-4 years.
Re: 107.3 CFGQ-FM Calgary
After reading Wikipedia it turns out that there are two Hot A.C.'s and one Adult Hits in that city. Calgary has been a growing radio market for years, but finding a format hole isn't easy. Soft A.C. (The Breeze) could be done, or they could become The Peak and compete directly with what's on 95.9 FM.

107.3 is now a simulcast of 770 CHQR which is News/Talk.
