Nah, we'd be the next California if Blanchard had won a second term, followed by Ms. Whoever he had for L. Governor.

Both Engler and Granholm did well fiscally and we made it through the storm in decent shape. Granholm was largely a lame duck, but Engler set the roadmap and she followed it. In her case, doing nothing actually worked.

Romney, Milliken and Blanchard were fiscal disasters for the state that Enger and had to clean up when times got harder here. I know you think he was was the "bad" guy, but what about the those before him that spent like drunken sailors?
