Not on a full market FM. Maybe a translator or throwaway AM for that coveted 0.2 share. It would be better than some of what is on these signals currently.

Isn’t the station required to provide a board op as part of a brokered/lease agreement? Anything else would indeed come out of Parker’s pocket.

CFOS Owen Sound will be off AM soon too. That leaves Windsor and CKNX as the only AMs near Michigan (unless you count CFPL 980, which puts a marginal signal into Port Huron).

It's only a good contract if they win the Super Bowl. Otherwise, too much money.

Despite the low power, it's much higher than 92.9. I'm guessing it's to replace 630. Chatham isn't very large and to my knowledge the station doesn't target anything outside of Kent County.

They still aren't hitting. There is major concern. You can't make the playoffs with such a putrid offense.

Heard some high school (or were they junior high?) kids in that slot today talking about body piercings. A serious discussion, no comedy.

Recently saw the Ray Bradbury-penned Twilight Zone episode about the lady who helps raise the motherless children. It was excellent.

I was always fond of the Buster Keaton episode. It was different, and it's always nice to see Keaton in his later, comeback years.

Oh yeah. Forgot about commercial catastrophies. Always a fun segment.

Weather on the other hand...

Best part was the eclectic choices of music. Second was hearing a new generation on radio, and AM no less. Aaron especially has the passion.

I will be listening but probably not able to chat.
